My daughter is generally well behaved but once about a year ago totally snapped when we were at a mall. She just went psycho and had a full blown tantrum when we wouldn't buy her a barbie. She was screaming, yelling, kicking and trying to hit. She's never done this before so it kind of freaked us out. You could tell that she just couldn't stop because of the level she had worked herself up to.
My son who just recently turned two is learning to say words and sentences. One day he came to me and said "light, I play" I asked him to show me what light he was talking about, he took me to his bedroom. I turned on his light, he smiled and said "Mommy I play" I said Ok, yes you play! Of course I thought I'd take the advantage of him playing by doing some laundry. About 15 minutes later he came to me and was angry with me "Mommy I play" I said I know, you go play...he said Mommy I play...hmmmm, took me a while to figure it out...I play means WE play :)
Children are very funny, they always do something that will make you laugh, and of course one of the funniest moments is when you try to feed them. Yes, try some broccoli.
I recently took my first weekend away from my 3 year old. Well need less to say my vacation turned into a total nightmare as soon as our trip began, 30 mins. away from home I had a complete breakdown and started crying I felt so guilty for leaving him.The first night I couldn't sleep I stayed up all night, the next evening I could barely eat. My husband suggested we go home early since I couldn't stop worrying so we did. After a 2 hour trip home we pulled up at my sister's house to go pick up my "little angel" and as the door opened my sweet little 3 year old walks up to me and SCREAMS "NO...GO AWAY I WANT TO STAY AND PLAY WITH AUNT SHELL" and slams the door in my face.
