I recently took my first weekend away from my 3 year old. Well need less to say my vacation turned into a total nightmare as soon as our trip began, 30 mins. away from home I had a complete breakdown and started crying I felt so guilty for leaving him.The first night I couldn't sleep I stayed up all night, the next evening I could barely eat. My husband suggested we go home early since I couldn't stop worrying so we did. After a 2 hour trip home we pulled up at my sister's house to go pick up my "little angel" and as the door opened my sweet little 3 year old walks up to me and SCREAMS "NO...GO AWAY I WANT TO STAY AND PLAY WITH AUNT SHELL" and slams the door in my face.
My 7 year old granddaughter loves bacon. One morning, she was out to eat with her dad and his friend. As she was munching mouthful of bacon, her dad's friend asked her if she realized she might be eating Wilbur (the heroic pig of "Charlotte's Web" fame). She just smiled, took another mouthful of bacon and said, "Well then, Wilbur shouldn't taste so good."
The three year old showed up the first day at school. The preschool and regular Elementry were on the same campus. He walked in the office with his Mother and while she was getting directions to the room, he pulled the fire alarm. Needless to say no one has ever forgoten that kid! By the way, did you know the fire department goes everytime the alarm sounds at a school?
On Thanksgiving my three year old kept saying there was something wrong with her eyes. I finally looked at her and said your eyes are fine your just tired, thats why they kept shutting! Then a few days later I was cleaning up after getting all the christmas stuff out and ready to decorate the house and I noticed little pieces of hair all over the table where the cat usually lays so I looked at my three year old and said "did you cut the cats hair?" (luckily she's a persian cat) My three year old looked at me and said "yes and I cut my hair too". Sure enough right in the front her hair was cut and the cat had one side of her whiskers cut too.
